We have now launched our new club kit for both cyclists and runners and so far it’s proving a massive hit. With improved fabrics, fit and technical aspects throughout the range. We have worked really hard with our kit partner Provision in making these our best garments ever.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to let you know how we intend to run both sides of the club over the next two years.
Cycling - It’s simple - if you purchase our new club kit you are automatically enrolled as a Velorunner Loyalty Club member for next 12 months giving you third party insurance on all rides as well as the ability to enter BC races under the Velorunner BC membership. Loyal club members will be rewarded as they spend in store with discounts ranging from 5 to 12% .
We don’t want to enforce rules other than general cycle etiquette and polite road use. We would also request that club kit is predominantly worn on our Saturday Store Ride.
All club members can also enter free of charge one the summer time trials as the store will cover this cost for you, provided you are in the current Velorunner kit.
There is a membership form to fill in behind the counter. If you don’t want to purchase the kit but would still like to come on club rides the fee is £30 per annum.
Runners - Same thing really, purchase a Velorunner race Jersey and T shirt along with at least one pair of running shoes and you’ll become a member. We need to register you with England Athletics if you wish to race under the Velorunner banner. You’ll need to pay the England Athletics fee.
Danny and Simon can help you with this and enable transfers from other clubs if needed.
All running club members will receive discount throughout the store between 5 and 12% depending on the product.
The magic stamp card will end in July 2022.
